1st Psi Meeting - 2002
The
1st Psi Meeting took place in 2002 and was attended by participants
from Curitiba and São Paulo, Brazil.

2nd Psi Meeting - 2004
The
2nd Psi Meeting took place in 2004 and was attended by researchers
from Argentina, Chile, France, USA, Japan and Brazil.
In addition to three round tables, one workshop and the presentation
of two dozen scientific papers, the event proudly hosted two
guest speakers (Stanley Krippner from USA and Hideyuki Kokubo
from Japan).
There were also tourist and gastronomic events and a photography
exhibition. The presented studies were organised in the Book
of Registration of Presented Papers.

3rd Psi Meeting - 2006
The
3rd Psi Meeting took place in 2006 with the participation
of researchers from Chile, Israel, France, USA, Japan and
Brazil. The event witnessed the publishing of 13 papers, 3
round tables (1. Real-Life Implications and Applications of
Psi; 2. Altered States of Consciousness and Reality; and 3.
Parapsychology and Transpersonal Psychology), 1 workshop and
4 guest speakers (Stanley Krippner Ph.D from USA, Steven R.
Pritzker Ph.D from USA, Hideyuki Kokubo B.Sc. from Japan and
Benny Schanon Ph.D from Israel).

The
4th Psi Meeting took place in 2008 with researchers from Chile,

5th Psi Meeting - 2009

by Faculdades Integradas Espírita and Instituto Pernambucano
de Pesquisas Psicobiofísicas, the 5th Psi Meeting:
the Varieties of Human Experiences took place in the city
of Recife. It started late in the afternoon on the 4th of
September 2009 and ended on the night of the 6th of the same
month. The 5th Psi Meeting was accomplished jointly with 27th
PSP. About 50 people from three countries (USA, Mexico and
Brazil) and ten educational or research institutions were
present at the 5th Psi Meeting.

scientific papers were submitted to the Scientific Committee
(comprised of researchers from 5 countries), 10 of whom attended
the event. Two round tables (The Varieties of Human Experiences,
and Psi Research and Neuroscience) were also organised. One
workshop (about psi and mentalism) was presented by Dr Wellington
Zangary. Two informal presentations were performed, allowing
the exposition of extra information from cultural and extra-scientific
sources. Finally, two guest lectures were presented by Dr
Stanley Krippner and Dr Wellington Zangari. The Proceedings
of Presented Papers book comprises all this material, including
papers in Portuguese, English and Spanish. To stimulate cross-cultural
interaction, all papers have abstracts in 6 languages (Portuguese,
English, Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese).
In order to minimize language limitations, sequential translation
was provided for foreign participants.

6th Psi Meeting - 2010
The
6th Psi Meeting: Psi Research and Neurosciences took place
in 2010 in Curitiba, Paraná. Approximately 60 people
from six Brazilian states (RJ, PR, SC, MG, SP, RN, DF) and
three countries (Chile, England and Japan) representing several
educational and research institutions attended the event.
